What the client faced
An accommodation provider wanted to develop a pipeline of temporary accommodation opportunities with multiple local authorities but lacked the compliance documentation and procurement understanding required to approach commissioning teams.
How we supported the client
We reviewed the provider's existing documentation, identified the standards required by commissioning authorities, and developed a compliance and policy pack covering safeguarding, fire safety, HMO licensing and business continuity. HCB also prepared a capability statement for use in framework applications.
The result
The provider now holds a complete compliance pack and is in active discussions with three borough commissioning teams. Framework applications are being prepared.
